Digital Product License

1. Who this licence covers

The licence is granted to the original purchaser of a digital product, or to a member while their Rita Vail Academy membership entitles them to the material. It is personal to you and is not transferable or resellable unless we agree in writing.

2. What you may do

• Use the materials for your own personal or internal professional purposes.
• Use them inside your own business or team for your own work — for example completing a worksheet, adapting a template for your own use, or applying a framework in your own role.
• Print or store a copy for your own reference.
• Keep your licensed copy for as long as you hold the licence. Purchased digital products do not expire; membership-only resources are available while the membership is active.

3. What you may not do

• Resell, sublicense, rent or otherwise commercialise the materials.
• Redistribute or share the files, in whole or in part, with people who have not paid.
• Republish the content publicly, in any medium, including as your own work.
• Upload the files to public repositories, file-sharing sites, AI training datasets, course platforms or group drives outside your licensed use.
• Use the materials to build or market a competing product, course or programme.
• Remove, alter, obscure or attempt to circumvent any watermark, licence identifier, copyright notice or delivery control.
• Claim ownership of the underlying Rita Vail intellectual property.

4. Ownership

You are buying a licence to use the materials, not ownership of them. All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property in the materials remain with Rita Vail Enterprises LLC. Work product you create using a template — your own filled-in worksheet, your own plan, your own writing — belongs to you.

5. Licence identifiers and personalised copies

Applicable paid downloads — digital products and Academy course workbooks and resources alike — are delivered as a personalised copy that carries a licence or member download identifier and a discreet footer showing who the copy was licensed to. This helps us administer licences and discourage unauthorised sharing. We do not claim that this prevents copying or guarantees enforcement — it is a record, not a technical restriction.

Files that carry no suitable page for that footer — for example course videos and presentation files — are not personalised. They are held in private storage and released only to a signed-in member with current access, through a link that expires shortly after it is issued.

6. Educational material only

All materials are educational and informational. They do not constitute legal, tax, financial, medical or employment advice. We do not guarantee any specific outcome — including employment, an interview, a promotion, compensation, revenue, funding or business results. Your results depend on your own circumstances, effort and judgement.

7. Breach and termination

If this licence is materially breached — for example by redistributing files or reselling the materials — we may terminate the licence and any related access. Termination does not create an automatic right to a refund; refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.

8. Relationship to our other policies

This licence sits alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Where a conflict arises about the permitted use of digital materials, this licence controls; the Terms of Use control everything else.
