What we collect

• Account details you provide: name, email and membership information.
• Order details: what you purchased and when.
• Basic usage data needed to keep the site secure and working.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Full card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

How we use your information

To deliver your purchases, provide support, run your membership, and send transactional emails such as receipts and renewal notices. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

SMS / text messaging

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box, Rita Vail Enterprises may send you appointment, account and service-related text messages. Consent is never a condition of purchase, and we record the date, source and IP address of your opt-in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) strictly to deliver the messages you requested.

Purchase, licensing and delivery records

When you buy a digital product or start a membership we record which legal documents you accepted and the exact version of each one (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Digital Product License and, where applicable, the Refund Policy), together with the date and time of that acceptance. This record is kept with your order so we can show what applied at the time of purchase.

Paid digital product orders are also assigned a licence identifier, and Academy members are assigned a member download identifier for course workbooks and resources. Applicable PDF downloads are delivered as a personalised copy of the file that carries that identifier and a partially masked form of your email address in the page footer, along with the delivery record linking that copy to your order or membership. We also keep an operational log of delivery events (for example a licensed copy being prepared, a download link being issued, or a request being declined) so we can support you, administer licences and review possible misuse. We use this to administer licences and to discourage unauthorised sharing. It is a record only — it does not encrypt or technically restrict the file, and we do not present it as doing so. Your full email address is not printed on the file.

Advertising measurement

When you arrive from an advert or a social post we record the campaign details in the web address (such as the campaign name and the referring platform’s click identifier) so we can see which campaigns bring people here. Where advertising cookies are permitted we also use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measurement, both in your browser and from our server, to report page views, product views, started checkouts, enquiries and completed purchases. Purchase reports are sent only after a payment has actually succeeded and use the real transaction amount. Where we send a completed purchase to Meta, your email address is converted into an irreversible code before it leaves our systems so it can be matched without sharing the address itself. Meta is the recipient of this data and uses it to measure and improve advert performance.

In regions that require it we ask for your choice before any advertising measurement runs, and nothing is sent unless you accept. You can change your mind at any time by reopening the cookie notice or emailing support@ritavail.com, and we apply the change immediately. Declining has no effect on the site, checkout, your account or your purchases.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@ritavail.com. Order, acceptance and licence records are retained where we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
